Faraday Complex

The Faraday Complex is home to a comprehensive range of meeting and event spaces, within one self-contained building.

Tiered lecture theatres within the Faraday Complex can support audiences of up to 620 people at once, whilst four additional seminar rooms are suitable for breakout sessions or meetings of up to 24 people. Each facility is tied together by a central foyer area which provides the space for event registration or break-time refreshments.

Our team can support mapping out the Faraday Complex spaces to suit individual events, and provide the projection, presentation and audio equipment required.

Directions to Faraday Building

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 33 and take the A6 north towards Lancaster.

For the Faraday Building turn left at the roundabout at the top of the main University driveway.  Follow the road down past the security lodge and keep going until you reach the visitor parking on North Drive where the woodland trail begins, or continue further to the top of campus where the Guest Rooms are located.

We recommend that delegates use Visitor Car Parking Zones A, B or C when visiting the Faraday Building. 

If you are on our day delegate or 24-hour residential package, free car parking permits can be collected from your Event Coordinator on arrival. Alternatively, the parking is pay and display and cards are accepted.

Faraday Building can be found in the Blue Zone on the campus map and is marked by the letters FAR.
