Outdoor Spaces

Outdoor space at Forrest Hills and Campus

Here at Lancaster University, we are lucky to have some amazing outdoor spaces for you to host your event. Meeting outdoors can re-energise your team and natural daylight is a perfect way to boost delegate productivity.

Forrest Hills is one of our unique spaces, situated in a peaceful setting. On all three counts, Forrest Hills excels. It’s an event space that offers the complete package for everything from corporate events from business meetings to team building activities and strategic planning away days. Most importantly our outdoor space can be used for fun during your event, either as a main session or to re-energise during breaks and at lunchtime.

The grounds at Forrest Hills are perfect for relaxation, and the main building itself is full of natural wood and stone and crammed with character: this is no grey, corporate space, but a beautiful venue designed to blend with its outdoor space. It boasts wonderful surroundings, with a lakeside setting at the edge of the Forest of Bowland. Forrest Hills offers a lush, leafy and scenic setting for a range of events. Give your delegates the chance to rest and take in what they have learnt in beautiful surroundings.

A recent addition to our offering to delegates is the ‘Bugs and Beasties’ package which will be ideal for those looking to add some light-hearted fun to the day! Take part in a special quiz to collect stars for your team and win prizes or by daring and try our grub tucker bitesize buffet plus lots more.

It’s not just about Forrest Hills, Lancaster University campus is set in 560 acres of parkland we have the luxury of large spaces to be creative with such as the woodland walk, Lancaster Square and fantastic sporting complex, facilitating an 8.5m Climbing Wall, a multi-function Sports Hall and Swimming Pool.

We offer a personal service because no two events should be the same. Take a look at some of the Be Well, Be Active and Be Creative team building packages and get in touch to talk us through your ideas. We'll be happy to assist you all the way.
