Art Session - Roots to Routes

On Monday 4th August we ran an exciting art session exploring the different art styles of South Asia and participants created their own beautiful tiles inspired by the art work.

Thank you to everyone who attended!

Nimerta Dawani researched the session and created the presentation and it was delivered by Ruqayyah Jhanji, Kazi Hoque, and Eleanor Dove with support from Iqra Mehmood.

'It is truly remarkable how art transcends geographical boundaries, fostering a shared experience among people worldwide. It is worth noting that art and craft circulate freely, surpassing political borders and reminding us that the world is just one country and humanity are its citizens' - Feedback from a participant
