Waikato University warmly invites colleagues at Lancaster University to submit proposals related to teaching and learning in tertiary education by 5am 7th October UK BST (5pm Friday 7th October 2023 New Zealand Time).

They are looking for proposals for the following types of session:

• Hiko - Lightning talk (5 mins) - a brief presentation on a specific example of teaching practice or pedagogy
• Kōrero - Discussion (20 minutes) - You provide questions or stimulus for participant discussion
• Whakaaturanga - Presentation (15 minutes + 5 mins Q & A)
• Matapakinga a te pae - Panel discussion - (40 minutes panel presentation and discussion + 15 minutes audience questions)

Te Puna Aurei LearnFest is an annual symposium organised by Te Puna Ako - Centre for Tertiary Teaching and Learning (CeTTL) at the University of Waikato.

This year, Te Puna Aurei LearnFest will be an online event jointly delivered by University of Waikato and Learning Design & Teaching Innovation (LDTI) and the Educator Network (tEN), The University of Newcastle (Australia).

Come and join engaged academics and educators from around the world in a two-day exploration of contemporary tertiary education!
