The LGBTQIA+ Ally Network celebrates Pride month in conversation with Dan Barcroft, the Director of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions at the University of Sheffield.
In this meeting of ‘Safe Home Base’, the LGBTQIA+ Ally Network will celebrate Pride Month by inviting Dan Barcroft, a Lancaster alumnus. Dan will talk about the meaning of honouring Pride in HE institutions and will share good practice on how to embed LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the workplace as an Ally.
Dan Barcroft is the Director of Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions at the University of Sheffield.
In addition, Dan participated in LGBT Charity Stonewall’s Leadership Programme in 2015. Dan has a BA in English Literature from Lancaster University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Durham. Dan also used to be the chair of Lancaster University LGBT+ Staff Network.
