Fylde one type of accommodation, bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. We are located centrally on campus so nowhere is far away! It’s a short walk to the library and the shops and if you fancy a woodland walk, the trail is just outside Fylde Main Windmill blocks.

The Common Room is for the use of Fylde and is the perfect place to chill out or work in groups. The room is also used by many student societies for evening socials and features a fully functioning kitchen, a table tennis table, lots of comfy seating, and even a large-screen TV with an HDMI input, perfect for group work, events, or social activities like movie nights.
The room is designated as a non-alcoholic area.

In the Fylde Community Kitchen, students and staff can relax, make a drink, or prepare lunch here. We have a fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, and utensils, and tea, coffee, and snacks are always available!
The Focus Room is a welcoming, multifunctional room. You can do interviews, meet with your friends or course group to study and work on projects, or you can come here to relax and focus on your wellbeing. It’s a great space for students looking for a comfortable place to work, meet, and recharge with accessibility and wellbeing in mind in a calm, low-stimulation environment.
Students commuting to campus can relax in this space between lectures, store and prepare their meals here. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, and utensils, and tea, coffee, and snacks are always available! Commuter students can also make use of our locker hire for the academic year, giving you a convenient place to store your essentials while on campus. These are available with a refundable £10 deposit. Reach out to the College Manager to enquire about hiring a locker.
The Furness/Fylde laundrette is situated next to Pizzetta Republic and is a short walk from the residences. You can purchase a laundry card in the laundrette and top it up online.
Situated within Fylde College, The Mill Bar is one of the most popular bars on campus and hosts many visitors throughout the week. It might be the curly fries... it might be the big screen, the pool or the darts, but it is always busy!
