Library’s Digital Studio launches new bookable spaces and loanable technology collection
The Library has launched a new guide for the Digital Studio, its technology-enhanced space for digital creativity and collaboration. The Digital Studio features high-spec PCs for VR, CAD and digital editing work and a range of equipment for creating and crafting including a cutting machine, scanner, sewing machine and more.
Located on A Floor of the Library, the Digital Studio can be now be booked by students or staff. You can reserve an individual workstation or book the entire room for a larger group activity.
We’ve also launched a new loanable technology collection including media production equipment, computing and coding kits and much more.
A new Lancaster Code Club for school-aged children has recently launched and will be held on the 4th Sunday of each month in the Library Digital Studio and Events Space. Find out more and register here.
