Trip Database - fast searching with new medical search tool

The Library has just launched a pro subscription to Trip Database. Trip is a smart, fast tool which allows users to find and use high quality research evidence to support their practice and care.

It is usable as a Google+ or Pubmed+ search, which filters the results with a strong focus on evidence-based methodology.

Publishers are classified based on their output. For example, Cochrane are classified in sytematic reviews and NEJM as key primary research. You can also use features such as the worldwide guidelines filter to restrict the results to guidelines published in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

As well as research evidence, Trip includes content types such as images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news.

If you would like to learn more about Trip Database, or the many other evidence-based electronic resources, book a session with a Faculty Librarian.
