We are delighted to host Lancaster University alumna, former colleague and award-winning author Dr Yvonne Battle-Felton in the Library as part of our Black History Month celebrations. Dr Battle-Felton will be reading from her new book Remembered which was published in 2019 by Dialogue Books. Remembered was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction in 2019.
The event will take place around the tree in the Library, at the heart of campus.
There will be an opportunity for questions and answers and also for audience members to get their own copy signed.
As part of the celebrations, Lancaster University Library are giving away a new, hardback copy of Remembered to up to 50 people who attend the author event and take the opportunity to sign up to take part in one of our reading groups. The reading groups are planned to take place at the end of October and start of November.
Please book your free ticket. Places are limited to 70 initially due to space constraints around the tree.
