Faizaan Bhobha at the TargetJobs UK Undergraduate of the Year Awards 2025

A Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) Economics student shone through to reach the finals of the prestigious TargetJobs UK Undergraduate of the Year Awards 2025

First year Faizaan Bhobha was a finalist for the Future Insurance Professional Award. Faizaan’s achievement in reaching the final stages reflects his exceptional hard work, ambition, and the significant impact he has already made at Lancaster.

"We are incredibly proud of Faizaan and look forward to seeing all he will achieve in the future," said Rory Daly, Head of Careers for Lancaster University Management School. “While the overall award ultimately went to another outstanding candidate, Faizaan’s success in reaching the final round is a remarkable accomplishment. We are confident that this recognition is only the beginning of an exciting and impactful career ahead.”

The TargetJobs Awards recognise the UK's most talented undergraduates across a range of disciplines. Candidates undergo a rigorous selection process including application forms, online tests, and assessment exercises.

They were presented at a prestigious ceremony, hosted by Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing. Each award was given in partnership with an employer who provided a prize, this year’s prizes included paid internships, mentoring and funds towards further professional development.
