Supporting our students

Our alumni are a fantastic resource for our current students. We love to welcome our graduates back to campus, physically or virtually, to share their stories and inspire students with their career journeys and experiences. There are a number of ways you can get involved as an alumnus and as an employer to give back to the LUMS community.

A group of students in a lecture theatre

Give a careers talk

Share your journey with our current students as part of an industry career panel or in-curriculum panel. These sessions allow students to gain a better understanding of graduate programmes, their industry of choice, and potential career pathways they can take.

Students at a career fair

Attend a careers fair

Represent your employer, connect with students as only an alumnus can, and revisit campus! You can use this opportunity to connect with students to promote placement, internship and graduate vacancies or other work experience opportunities at your employer. These events enable our students to relate to your experiences and gain insight into why you chose your employer and career pathway.

Join a networking event

Share your experience through informal networking sessions. These events help break down barriers and formalities for students to connect with those willing to help them improve this essential skill and put their knowledge into practice.
