Join the Colleges on our Campus Photo Walk on Tuesday 9 December. We will meet at 1pm outside the Chaplaincy Centre and walk round our beautiful campus and connect with nature while taking photos.
As the seasons change, explore the ever changing details as you walk. December is a great month, almost magical, where frost can create beautiful patterns on windows and transform seed-heads and cobwebs into stunning natural art. These sights make December a unique and picturesque month.
As you walk, maybe create a narrative by taking 3-5 photos from start to finish to reflect on where you've been and what you've noticed. Or take photos from different perspectives to add interest to your photos.
No photography experience needed. This is a great way to meet new people, step outside, camera in hand and capture the beauty of our college campus.
Please wear suitable footwear with a good grip for slippery surfaces, as the ground at this time of year can be quite slippery, as well as muddy.
At the end of the walk, we will head to Furness College to have some mince-pies and hot chocolate.
We hope you have enjoyed the monthly walks during the Michaelmas term. We would love for you to share your photos by emailing them to furness@lancaster.ac.uk and we will share these on the 9 Colleges Instagram page.
