For 2021, the intercollegiate competitions team present to you ‘Take The Stage’ a cross campus talent show with the opportunity to win up to £600 in cash prizes and the opening slot at the talent show next year.

We are looking for a variety of talent so if you play an instrument, have a band, dance, sing, juggle, have a comedy act or have any other talent that is not listed please do think about entering. We would love to see your best act!

This is a two-stage competition with the first stage requiring you to send in a submission video (no longer than 5 minutes) via our online submission form. The video will then be reviewed by your College to check for appropriateness and judging before they are uploaded to your College Facebook page for College members to vote on. The top act with the most votes from each College will move on to the final. Please include an introduction to your video telling us who you are, which College you are representing and what talent you will be showcasing.

The deadline for your video submission is Sunday 28th February at 5pm.

For staff the talent show committee will review the top staff act from each College and 3 acts will make it through to the final.

The final will be a pre-recorded live broadcast in which our Celebrity Guest Judges (who will be announced on the 9 College Facebook Page in due course). Students in the final will be competing for the chance to win cash prizes, represent their College and the opportunity to open the talent show next year.

First Place- £600, the Take the Stage trophy, and the opening slot at next year’s talent show.

Second Place- £250

Third Place- £100

If a staff member wins, they will win the Take the Stage trophy, the opening slot at next year’s talent show and £150 donated to a charity of their choice.
