Ruskin’s work on the environment addressed concerns ranging from the practical and the political, to the moral, spiritual and aesthetic. Many of his concerns remain critical to the global challenges of our own time.
The Ruskin Whitehouse Collection includes 125 daguerreotypes, including some of the earliest known images of the Alps, dating from the 1850s.
