Work in Progress is working with the Video production Academy to bring a two-day boot camp that will break you free of the fear of being on screen, giving you the skills to reach wider audiences using video to make a positive difference in the world by developing core skills.

Video content is king. We can build the same relationships with customers in an onsite business, but within a digital world. It’s fast, scalable and surprisingly cost effective. But there’s a huge barrier in the way. Us! We don’t like being confronted by our own face and voice on screen.

Work in Progress is working with the Video production Academy to bring a two-day boot camp that will break you free of the fear of being on screen, giving you the skills to reach wider audiences using video to make a positive difference in the world by developing core skills including:

• Clarity of vision for how you can use video to impact your business
• Resourcefulness through developing expertise and resilience and drawing on creativity
• Planning and coordinating key activities towards your goals
• Building of confidence
• Ability to identify strengths and work on weaknesses

This Bootcamp is designed specifically for Lancashire businesses to meet your needs as a Start Up business owner, or for those new to using video in business. You will be given the opportunity to develop your presentation and video skills and by doing so increase your success as contemporary start-up business owner and entrepreneur.

This event will be taking place on Wednesday 29th March 10 am - 4:30 pm and Friday 31st March 10 am - 4:30 pm

The Bootcamp will facilitate the development of self-confidence through practical application while allowing you to share your experiences and benefit from the experience and wisdom of the group.

We will incorporate a series of activities and practical experiential tasks across four sessions, the workshop will enable you to:

• Understand the value of appearing on video as a business owner
• Identify yourself as capable and committed to the process
• Create a video production plan that addresses some of the technical aspects of video
• Learn to transform vision into message and how to create video content to reflect that
• Use activities discussed in the Bootcamp to develop traits such as resilience, time-management skills and confidence
• Collaboratively network with peers to facilitate your confidence on camera development and your business.
• Develop video assets for your business.
