Students' Union advice service

Our advice service is a free, non-judgemental and confidential support service. Our team of professional advisors can support any registered students at Lancaster University. This advice can help you with complaints, disciplinaries, housing, and wellbeing.

College Advisor Team (CAT)

CAT exist to provide pastoral welfare support to all students within the college. Students can contact their CAT at any point for support or someone to talk to about an aspect of life at Lancaster such as:

  • homesickness
  • wellbeing
  • money problems
  • personal problems
  • or any other issue

College Advisors are a 'friendly face' and can help with various issues, as well as signpost to other services.

SilverCloud

SilverCloud is a self-help programme, which allows you to learn more about:

  • stress
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • body image

Silvercloud provides tools to help you identify where these issues arise in day-to-day life. It provides practical guidance to help you make real-life changes to help you address and manage your mental health difficulties.

Lancaster Nightline

Lancaster Nightline is a confidential listening and information service run by students for students at Lancaster University. They aim to provide a night-time contact point offering a wealth of free information and a non-judgemental listening ear. Email nlvol@lancaster.ac.uk.
