Event Details
An informal symposium to talk about inspirational and pivotal black writers in education.
The symposium will feature short presentations by different colleagues & students, each on a different black author.
Including: Stuart Hall, bell hooks, Maxine Greene, W.E.B. Dubois, Rabindranath Tagore, Kimberley Crenshaw, Audre Lorde, Jason Arday.
The symposium will be structured by these talks interspersed with opportunities to chat. It is informal and you can come and go depending on other commitments – or stay for the whole afternoon!
