Research success for Education and Social Justice PhD graduate

Chidi Ezegwu

Many congratulations to Dr Ndubuisi Chidi Ezegwu who has recently started work as a Research Associate at the Manchester Institute of Education, University of Manchester. Chidi is a graduate of the PhD in Education and Social Justice programme offered by the Educational Research Department at Lancaster University.

Chidi commented that “My study at Lancaster came at a critical stage of my career when I did not just need a PhD but deeper academic experience to advance in my career as an interdisciplinary researcher. Within a few months of completing the study, I was invited to coordinate some large and complex research projects and also won numerous small research grants. In the course of two and half years after completing my PhD at Lancaster University, I played leading roles in a total of 17 research projects.”

Dr Melis Cin was Chidi’s PhD supervisor and she commented that “It is truly inspiring to witness the remarkable progress our graduates have made in their careers, actively driving the promotion of equality and serving the greater public good. Their success is a testament to the transformative impact of our programme, working with individuals who strive to make a meaningful difference in society.”
