Step away from the screens and embrace colouring. You don't have to be artistic to join this event and create your very own colourful masterpiece. There will be plenty of examples and templates for you to use, as well as a variety of materials will be provided as part of this event.
There are many positive benefits to mindfulness colouring, so come along and give it a go! Pop in for an hour or stay for a few hours.
Mindful colouring is known to be a healthy technique to relieve stress in adults. Studies have shown that the act of mindfulness colouring can allow for a state of relaxation and concentration. By colouring you are focussing and concentrating within the present moment which can help alleviate and reduce anxiety and stress, so it can be a helpful tool in managing thoughts and feelings. Colouring can also encourage creativity, so be as neat or messy as you want, there will be no judging here!
Refreshments available.
Events can be booked via the College Community Events page on LibCal at College Community Events - Events - Lancaster University
