With summer getting closer, you may be thinking about what to do when you leave your accommodation. Each year, the University’s Don’t Ditch It project sets up donation points across the University, allowing you to donate unwanted clothes and items as you move out.

Donation hubs

This year, the drop-off hubs are located at the Porter's Lodge in every college, except for Graduate College (Graduate students can donate at Cartmel or Lonsdale Colleges on South West Campus). Find out more about the project on the Don’t Ditch It website.

What you can donate

• Clothing, shoes and accessories
• Furniture
• Kitchen items
• Books and stationery
• Unopened cosmetics and cleaning products
• Clean, washed bedding sets

We can't accept donations of duvets, pillows, broken or dirty items or food.
