WE ARE HALF OF IRAN'S POPULATION (Rakhshan Banietemad 2009) 47 min - An insightful look into The Women’s Rights Activists in Iran and their demands for change ahead of the controversial 2009 elections. As part of the most vibrant social movement in Iran today, the women fight gender discrimination whilst being routinely persecuted by the government. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with a small panel made up of lecturers and students.
