A 2-hour wellbeing workshop that will provide you with a set of tools and techniques to help relieve stress and tension in your mind and body.

Using self-massage, effective stretching and breathing techniques, learn how to relieve tension in the neck, back and shoulders to calm and focus the mind and naturally reduce stress and anxiety. You will be seated in a chair for most of the workshop so that you can learn some of these incredible techniques and then apply them in your day to day. Part of the session will include one to one help and advice for your specific needs so that you can take away your own 'home' programme!

These sessions are heavily subsidised by the Nine Colleges and are intended to be as affordable as possible for students and cost just £5 per person. Payment is required in advance of the workshop to help guarantee attendance as these sessions are very popular!

Recent feedback:

“I absolutely loved the session today, really great combination of techniques! Thanks for sending the resources as well, I've been raving about it all day to people”

“I found it very helpful to manage stress and relax – Thank you!”

"Really enjoyed the breakout sessions where we could focus on specific exercises for individual problem areas!"

"I learnt a lot, I’d never even heard the word fascia before the session. It really made me appreciate how important regular movement is and why we seize up sometimes."

The sessions will be delivered by Jo Mason, fully qualified massage therapist and Ali Moorhouse, 300hr Therapeutic Yoga instructor.

All sessions will take place in Fylde Common Room.
