Event Details

A 2-hour wellbeing workshop that will provide you with a set of tools and techniques to help relieve stress and tension in your mind and body

Using self-massage, effective stretching and breathing techniques, learn how to relieve tension in the neck, back and shoulders to calm and focus the mind and naturally reduce stress and anxiety. You will be seated in a chair for the duration of the workshop so that you can learn some of these incredible techniques and then apply them in one of the most stressful situations you may encounter as a student – exams!

These sessions are heavily subsidised by the Nine Colleges and are intended to be as affordable as possible for students and cost just £5 per person.

The sessions will be delivered by Jo Mason, fully qualified masseuse and Ali Moorhouse, 300hr Therapeutic Yoga instructor.

All sessions will take place in Fylde Common Room.

There is limited space available, so please book early to avoid disappointment

All the sessions will take place 2-4pm in the Fylde Common Room, on the following days:

  • Wednesday 8th February
  • Wednesday 22nd February
  • Wednesday 8th March

Further sessions will take place in the Summer term, dates to be confirmed.
