Law Clinic secures a monthly column in the Lancaster Guardian
Lancaster University’s Law Clinic students are participating in an exciting project in conjunction with the Lancaster Guardian. Each month, our students write a 250-word newspaper article focusing on a variety of contemporary legal issues.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted both the value and the limits, but European Union health policy has never been so important. EU health law and policy has expanded as a discipline and spans a range of what appear at first non-health-related aspects (such as competition and fiscal policy) as well as the EU’s limited public health competence, raising questions of how the EU and Member State levels interact.

After the success of our law conferences held in 2019 on ‘Law and Social Transformation’, and in 2020 on ‘Law and Justice’, we are happy to announce that we are organising an international conference on the broad theme of ‘Law in the Transforming World’.
