The reach of the European Union in health has evolved over time and is receiving new levels of attention with the COVID-19 pandemic. A new virtual discussion forum builds on discussions of lawyers and political scientists in the recent British Academy-funded project, EU Health Law and Policy - Shaping a Future Research Agenda (run by Dr Guy and Dr Eleanor Brooks (Edinburgh)), and at the UACES 2020 virtual conference.

The forum welcomes a range of speakers at all career levels and already covers themes as diverse as COVID-19, pharmaceuticals regulation, cross-border healthcare rights under the Withdrawal Agreement and the European Semester.
