LUMS Careers provides every Lancaster student with a well-rounded careers education designed to help you map out your graduate success. Our approach is built around four themes:

  • Explore – discover your strengths, interests, values and career options, so you can make informed career decisions for your future.
  • Prepare – develop the skills, insights, knowledge and experiences that employers are looking for through mock interviews, assessment centres and networking opportunities.
  • Achieve – put your learning into action with practical workshops on personal branding, LinkedIn, applications, business etiquette and interview success
  • Thrive – build leadership, resilience and professional skills through programmes like Women in Finance, Consultancy Academy, cross-cultural awareness and workplace skills sessions.

Together, these LUMS Career themes guide you step by step, ensuring you are ready for the world of work, whether that is an internship, placement or your first graduate role.
