As an international student, you’ll benefit from access to all core LUMS Careers services, as well as tailored support to help you succeed in the global job market.

  • One-to-one appointments with experienced careers coaches familiar with international student pathways 
  • Advice on UK graduate training schemes and job applications, and provide resources and signposting for post-study visa options.
  • Guidance on planning your career across multiple countries, including navigating recruitment and cultural differences

  • Book one-to-one guidance appointments through CareersConnect , Lancaster University’s online careers hub where you can also search for jobs, internships, placements, and careers events
  • Attend international careers fairs, workshops, and employer events 
  • Join peer to peer coaching sessions and mentoring schemes 
  • Access online tools such as CV 360 and interview 360 to support your job applications and interview preparation 
  • Take part in projects and placements that help you build experience during your degree
