Forecasting electricity demand on B2B market

BES Utilities provides electricity to companies in the UK. In order to understand how much energy needs to be generated, they need to know what the demand for electricity will be in the next 24 hours. Furthermore, while the decisions are made on the national level, BES Utilities has data of electricity demand in specific geographical locations. This information together with the weather data in those locations might be useful for improving the accuracy of forecasts. In this project, you would need to come up with models to produce forecasts of demand for the next 48 half-hours using whatever statistical or machine learning you find appropriate.
