Postgraduate Co-ordinator

Profile

Role and responsibilities

I have worked at the University since 1986 and joined the Educational Research Department in 1987 as the undergraduate secretary. I moved within Educational Research to become the adminstrator for the newly created and innovative MSc in Advanced Learning Technology and as the secretary for CSALT (Centre for Studies in Advanced Learning Technology). In 1995 I became the administrator of the new and innovative Doctoral Programme in Educational Research. This part-time, part taught PhD doctorate for experienced professionals in HE and FE was ground-breaking in its format in 1995. It is still a unique programme and in 2014 celebrated its 20th Anniversary.
