Trade Links: New Rules for a New World Order
James Bacchus is a founding member and former chair of the WTO Appellate Body. Before joining the WTO, he served as a member of the US Congress for Florida and was Special Assistant to the US Trade Representative.
He has been a member of the High Level Advisory Panel for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. He has served as Chair of the Commission on Trade and Investment Policy at the International Chamber of Commerce since 2012. He has been a “B20” business adviser to the “G20” heads of state since 2014. He has also served as Chair of the Global Agenda Council on Governance for Sustainability at the World Economic Forum, Davos.
