Profile

Eleanor is a Research Associate in Knowledge Mobilisation at Lancaster Medical School and a member of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North West Coast (ARC NWC). A registered nurse by background, she has worked within the military, critical and emergency care, hospice services, nursing homes, primary care research and within the voluntary and community sector.

Before joining ARC NWC, Eleanor worked at the International Observatory on End of Life Care (IOELC), contributing to European research projects focused on palliative and end-of-life care. Her diverse experiences across clinical practice, research and community settings have shaped her passion for connecting people, evidence and ideas to improve health and care.

Eleanor is particularly interested in creative approaches to health, knowledge mobilisation and implementation, with a focus on optimising wellbeing and supporting equitable care. She enjoys working collaboratively with researchers, practitioners, public contributors and communities to help ensure that research makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.
