VO2 Max Test – £100

VO2 Max is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can take in and use during exercise. It is the gold-standard measure of aerobic capacity. A high VO2 Max is important for successful athletic performance in endurance events, and a VO2 Max test allows athletes to accurately gauge their endurance level.

Lactate Threshold Test - £150

For endurance events, the ability to sustain a high percentage of VO2 Max without building up fatigue is important. The lactate threshold refers to the point during exercise at which lactate builds up more quickly than it can be removed. Well-trained athletes can exercise just below their lactate threshold for the duration of their event. Utilising the lactate threshold to determine training zones can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of training and, in turn, can improve endurance performance.
