A relaxed, low-key space to spend some time with other students. Whether you want to chat, play a game, read, listen to someone play the piano, or simply be around other people.

There’s no pressure to join in, talk, or make friends. You can come on your own, stay for ten minutes or stay for the whole hour. You can bring a book, do some work, play a game, have a quiet conversation, or just sit and enjoy the company.

The room has books, games and a piano, so there are plenty of things to do or you can do absolutely nothing.

This is a friendly, inclusive space for anyone who would like some company, including students who find busy or highly social events difficult, are new to university, are feeling lonely, or simply prefer quieter ways of meeting people.

You don't need to know anyone before you come.

Come as you are. Stay for as long as you like. Join in as much or as little as you want.
