Peter Garraghan is a Professor in Distributed Systems, Director of the Secure AI Labaratory, EPSRC Fellow, and Founder & Chief Science Officer of Mindgard.
His research expertise specializes in the security of AI models, agents, and systems. His research places strong emphasis on system experimentation within both laboratory and production environments. He was the recipitent of the prestigious EPSRC Fellowship (2021 - 2026).
Peter has published over 80 research articles, led R&D teams to create bleeding-edge technology used in production, advises UK government on AI security and safety, and regularly presents at flagship security venues including Black Hat USA and RSA.His work on AI security has been featured heavily in the media, including the BBC, Forbes, Axios, CNET, The Hacker News, The Washington Post, and more.
