Graduation Day is one of the most celebrated occasions in the University year, and we invite you, your friends and family to join our college celebrations Friday 17 July 2026.

Our final year students will graduate on Friday 17 July 2026, and our celebrations have been arranged to ensure our Bowland students can all come and spend some time in the college with family and friends. Our celebrations will take place in Bowland Quad and Common Room between 1pm-5pm. Expect free fizz, canapes, sweet treats and live music. The Bowland College group photo will take place at 3pm on Lancaster Square (County Fields).

If you are in the 1.45-3pm ceremony, come and celebrate with us from 3.30-5pm. These celebrations are after your ceremony. The Bowland College group photo will take place immediately after your ceremony and normally takes around 30 minutes. After the photo come and celebrate with us in the college.

If you are in the 4.30-5.45pm ceremony, come and celebrate with us from 1pm-2.45pm. These celebrations are before your ceremony. The Bowland College group photo will take place at 3pm before you go to the Great Hall for your ceremony, so come and celebrate with us first. We'll make an announcement when it's time to go to the photo session.

Our college celebrations are free to attend and your family and friends are warmly invited to join us. You are welcome to bring a picnic with you.
