Award-winning Lancaster Tour Guide Gregory Wright comes to Campus on Wednesday 21 October to take a look at Lancaster's 'Golden Age'.

Lancaster's 18th-century "golden age" as a booming port came at a cost - built on the profits of the transatlantic slave trade, sometimes euphemistically dubbed "The Triangular Trade."

This hour-long presentation explores Lancaster's maritime past with stories of slavery, shipbuilding, sugar & the sea.

The talk will begin at 1pm in County College Common Room. Light refreshments provided. You are welcome to bring your lunch.
