We have a number of spaces in the College that are always open for you to use...
County Bar & Costa Café (The Northern Oak)
Split into two separate areas, County Bar is a great place to socialise and study. The Bar is also home to County Diner, which serves a selection of hot and cold food.
County Common Room is the perfect place to chill out or work in groups. The room has a sofa, seating areas, lockers and even a piano and is a popular space with students living off-campus.
The Games Room is next to County Bar where students can enjoy playing pool, darts, table tennis and table football. County is the only college on campus that has its very own snooker room. Students can have access to the full-sized snooker table for a small yearly membership.
Students living off-campus can make a drink or heat up their lunch in our Student Kitchen in County Main complete with fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, utensils and free herbal teas.
With 18 PCs and printing available 24/7, the PC Lab is a very popular quiet study space, especially in the lead up to exams!
County has two laundry rooms – one near the Porter’s Lodge in County Main and one in County South.
