We are excited to have our new students joining us for the first time and our returning students joining us once again! We hope you have an amazing time in The County College and at Lancaster University.

To help with this transition and to boost your student experience, we have planned events and activities throughout the entire academic year. We hope that these events and activities will help you feel more connected to the College, part of the County College Community, and we hope that our resources, particularly our wellbeing initiatives and campaigns, help you feel cared for. College Managers, Dan Miller and LaVerne Parker

Dan and LaVerne manage the day-to-day operations of college life and activities and can help with almost any query, or point you to someone who can. They can be contacted at County@lancaster.ac.uk or by telephone on 01524 592 562. Visit them in County Main A032.

Accommodation Manager, Anna Eddowes-Scott

College Advisory Team

Wellbeing support is available via the College Advisory Team (CAT), who can be contacted by completing the Wellbeing Connect form and selecting that you would like to speak to the College Advisory Team. The team provide a range of appointment options and can support your preference, whether that be in-person, via Teams, or by telephone call.

College Community Assistants

The College Community Assistants (CCAs) can be contacted at CountyDeanery@lancaster.ac.uk. The CCAs, along with the College Dean (Rachel), oversee standards and discipline in the College, and help you all have a safe and happy time during your studies. They investigate issues such as noise disturbance, anti-social behaviour, fire safety breaches, and conduct flat mediation meetings, as well as address other issues.

If you wish to report a breach of regulations that requires immediate attention (i.e. noise disturbance at night), then please contact the County College Porters on 01524 592 560, or you can visit the Porters Lodge to make your report. If the Porter is unavailable, then please call the University Security team on 01524 594 541 who will be able to assist you.

24-hour support is available via University Security staff. They are your first port of call in the event of an emergency and can be contacted on 01524 592 560 (County College Porters) or on 01524 594 541 (Security).
