Grants and Bursaries

The Graduate College offers a range of grants and bursaries to help students during their studies.

Travel grants

Students can apply for travel grants of up to £150 to cover the cost of travel to attend an academic conference or similar academic event (see the application form for full eligibility criteria).

Applications must be received 2 months prior to the month you are travelling, in line with the deadlines stated on the application form.

This fund is mainly for the sharing and dissemination of research conducted at Lancaster, so applicants presenting a paper are prioritised. Although we also use the fund to support students attending the Global Experiences summer schools. See the application form 'Eligibility Criteria' for full details.

Applications can be made through the online form here (link available soon). If you need to apply without using the online system, please contact us.
