Current Teaching

Fiona teaches on the Lancaster Medical Degree programme (MBChB) in Lancaster Medical School. She is the Year 2 Director, responsible for co-ordination of all aspects of Year 2 teaching (including clinical placements), assessment, curriculum development and review, and student progression.

Fiona is involved with specific teaching on the MBChB programme:

  • Lectures on the gastrointestinal system and nutrition, the respiratory system and body fluid compartments.
  • Year 2 and 3 Problem Based Learning (PBL) tutor.
  • Convenor of Special Study Modules (SSMs) on medical education and gastrointestinal topics.
  • Workshops on reflection and introducing students to Moodle.
