Lancaster University has maintained its high national position in the Complete University Guide 2023 with a ranking of 11th out of 130 universities across the UK for the second year running.

Lancaster has also retained its crown as the Guide’s best higher education institution in North West England. Within the North West region, which includes 12 universities, Lancaster also came top for its 'Research Intensity' and 'Completion' of degrees by its students.

LICA achieved triple top ten scores:

• Dance, Drama and Cinematics (Theatre Studies) ranked 5th,
• Art and Design ranked 7th,
• Communication, Film and Media Studies ranked 7th.

Art and Design also came joint 9th for graduate prospects and Dance, Drama and Cinematics is joint 8th for student satisfaction.
