On Thursday, 18th January 2024, a team of Senior Leaders from the National University of Malaysia visited Lancaster University and met with Senior Colleagues to finalise existing and discuss new collaborative opportunities.

The following week, on Wednesday, 24th January 2024, two articulation agreements were signed between Lancaster University and the National University of Malaysia at the High Commission of Malaysia in London. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, the Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia. The agreements allow TESOL Major students from UKM Faculty of Education to experience Lancaster curriculum as part of their postgraduate studies and to pursue their studies at Masters level at Lancaster University following completion of undergraduate studies at UKM. These agreements are an addition to several articulation agreements that were signed between the two universities back in 2021.
