Candle and lights

The talk explores a variety arguments against the existence of God made in the 7th c but Kumārila Bhaṭṭa, who was both an atheist and a committed exegete of the Hindu sacred texts, the Veda. These arguments provide striking and illuminating comparisons and contrasts with those that occurred in early modern Europe about a thousand years later.
