Research Overview

As Administrator & Creative Content Co-ordinator in the award-winning Partnerships and Business Engagement team within Lancaster University’s Faculty of Science and Technology, I focus on three main areas:

Marketing to External Organisations

I work with our Marketing Manager and our wider team to gather information on and communicate what engagement projects we’re working on in Science and Technology and promote these via various marketing communications channels, such as social media, e-newsletters, case studies, and website content.

I help showcase what we have to offer, raise awareness and encouraging connections with our external audiences, such as start-ups, charities, small and medium enterprises, and multi-national corporations, informing them on any updates, opportunities, and exciting news.

Student Engagement

I work with our Student Engagement Team to support their engagement with students, reaching out to students through social media and events, informing them of our employability offer and helping connecting them to opportunities to gain knowledge and work experience, for example, through our Internships Programme.

Personal Assistant

I also support our Director Steve Fish, managing his diary, and helping with administrative tasks.
