Research Overview

Steve's research focuses on increasing crop productivity and sustainability through photosynthsis. This involves both computer simulation and systems optimization, coupled with bioengineering and genetic selection. A particular focus is on adaptation to global atmospheric change, with emphasis in his work at Lancaster on efficiency of water use.
