An interactive fair celebrating cultures of East and South East Asia

ESEA Heritage Month highlights the breadth and diversity of the vast region and its influence on British life. It acknowledges the ways in which communities from China, Japan, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, have shaped the UK.

Come along to the free fair in the Library Exhibition Space, any time between 10 am and 2 pm to visit the stalls covering:

Taste of Asia: Enjoy complimentary Thai dessert (Khao Niao Mamuang) and Vietnamese coffee

Games Arena: Challenge friends to Chinese Chess, Jianzi, and more!

Calligraphy Corner: Learn the elegant art of Chinese brush writing.

Creative Kites: Paint and decorate your own Malaysian Wau Bulan kite.

Sounds of a Continent: See traditional instruments and scan QR codes to listen to music from across the region.
