Extracurricular Classes
Our Extracurricular Classes are open to members of the public, as well as students and staff.
Language Classes for Mandarin Chinese are held every term. We have multiple classes to suit any level of ability.
We also offer Chinese cultural classes in:
- Tai Chi
- Wushu
- Dance
- Calligraphy
- Painting
These cultural classes are subject to teacher availability, and may not be available every term.

Calligraphy & Painting
Chinese calligraphy (shū fǎ) and painting (guó huà) emphasize motion and are charged with dynamic life.

Whenever possible, we seek to offer non-contact lessons in various forms of Tai Chi and Wushu. These are styles of traditional Chinese martial arts, which have become an integral part of popular Chinese culture.
Wushu, or Kongfu, was a system of codified practices and traditions of training for combat.
