Extracurricular Classes
Our Extracurricular Classes are open to members of the public, students and staff.
Language Classes for Mandarin Chinese are held every term. We have multiple classes to suit any level of ability.
We also offer Chinese cultural classes in:
- Calligraphy
- Painting
- Dance
- Ba Duan Jin
- Tai Chi
The cultural classes are subject to teacher availability and may not be available every term.

Weekly Mandarin language classes, open to members of the public, as well as University staff and all students.

Weekly Chinese folk dance classes for staff, students and members of the community.
We offer Chinese dance classes for children age 5-11 years old too.

Lancaster Chinese weekend classes for children
Learn about Chinese language and culture!
Sundays, 10am-12pm at The Confucius Institute
For children aged between 5-11 years old.
Beginner and advanced classes available.
