On Saturday 20th May, Lancaster University Confucius Institute took part in the North-West Confucius Institutes’ dragon boat race 2023.

The team was made up of Lancaster University Confucius Institute staff, Lancaster University students and long-time friends of Lancaster University Confucius Institute.

This year, the event was hosted by Edge Hill University Confucius Institute at Liverpool Royal Albert Docks. Also participating in the dragon boat races were Liverpool University, Manchester University and the University of Central Lancashire.

Lancaster University Confucius Institute would like to thank Edge Hill University Confucius Institute for hosting the 2023 dragon boat race. The team had a fantastic day taking part in the three races. Many people came to support the team and watch the races too. Thank you to everyone for a great performance against tough competition and many congratulations to the University of Central Lancashire for winning first place at the North-West Confucius Institutes’ dragon boat race 2023!
