Fylde Coast International Women’s Day Festival at Blackpool Sixth Form, is a collaboration of business, community, schools and young people celebrating successes and achievements of fantastic women around the Blackpool area.

Lancaster University Confucius institute, for the first time, took part in this amazing event held at Blackpool 6th Form College on 7th March. Our team was set up inside the Rainbow Tent, offering a number of exciting and inspiring activities including Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper-cutting and paper-folding, as well as Chinese language and culture sessions. We had a wonderful response from students, teachers and other organisations taking part, with hundreds of visitors streaming in and out of the Rainbow Tent throughout the day.
