The Confucius Institute welcomes scholars working in academic fields related to China or Chinese language and culture.

Scholars who have a PhD and would like to be based at Lancaster University Confucius Institute for academic research for a period of between three months and a year are welcome to apply to be a Visiting Scholar at Lancaster University Confucius Institute.

The bench fee is £75 per week. The minimum term is three months, the maximum term is 1 year. Applicants should expect to hear whether their application has been successful within 2-4 weeks of applying.
